FAQs – Getting Started with cmercury

1. How do I sign up for cmercury?

To sign up for cmercury:

  1. Visit cmercury.com and click Sign Up.
  2. Enter your corporate email address (Gmail is not allowed) and create a secure password.
  3. Verify your email via the confirmation link sent to your inbox.
  4. Complete your account setup by providing your account name, full name, and time zone.
  5. Log in to access your cmercury dashboard.

2. Why can’t I use a Gmail address for sign-up?

cmercury only supports corporate email addresses to ensure authenticity and security.

3. How do I set up my sending domain?

Before sending emails, you must configure your domain:

  1. Go to Account Settings > Domains.
  2. Click Add Domain and follow the instructions to update your DNS settings.
  3. The system will verify your records every 2 minutes. If verification is paused after 50 attempts, you can restart it manually.
  4. Once verified, cmercury will monitor your domain daily and notify you if any records are missing.

4. How can I import subscribers?

You can import subscribers via:

  • CSV Upload: Go to Subscribers > Create a List > Import Subscribers and upload your file.
  • Manual Entry: Add individual subscribers directly within cmercury.
  • API Integration: Use the API to automate subscriber imports.

5. Can I segment my subscribers?

Yes! After importing subscribers, you can create segments based on demographics, engagement, and behaviour to personalize campaigns.

6. How do I create an email campaign?

  1. Go to Campaigns and click Create New Campaign.
  2. Choose your subscriber area and enter campaign details (name, subject line, preheader, sender details).
  3. Design your email using:
    • HTML Editor (Customize within cmercury)
    • Upload HTML (Use a pre-designed template)
    • Text Editor (Plain-text email)
  4. Send the campaign immediately or schedule it for later.

7. Can I track my campaign performance?

Yes! In the Analytics section, you can track:

  • Open Rates – Who opened your emails
  • Click Rates – Link engagement
  • Bounce Reports – Undelivered emails

Subscriber Engagement – Interaction levels
