1. How do I create a new email campaign in cmercury?

To create a new campaign:

  1. Click Campaigns in the main menu.
  2. Click Create New Campaign on the Campaign Overview page or the Dashboard.
  3. Follow the step-by-step setup process.

2. How do I select an audience for my campaign?

  • After clicking Create New Campaign, you will be redirected to the Audience Selection Module.
  • Choose an existing list or segment.
  • If needed, create a new segment by defining segmentation conditions.

3. What are the different campaign types available?

  • Regular Campaign – Standard email blast.
  • Distribution Campaign (Coming Soon) – Staggered email delivery.
  • A/B Testing (Coming Soon) – Compare different versions of an email.

4. What details do I need to configure for my campaign?

On the Campaign Details Page, you can:

  • Enter a Campaign Name.
  • Set the Sender Name, Sender Email Address, and Reply-To Address.
  • Select the Target List/Segment and Suppression List.

5. How do I set the subject line and preheader?

  • Enter the Subject Line (personalization options available).
  • Add a Preheader Text.
  • Use cmercury AI Assist to generate subject lines based on tone and email type.
  • View an Inbox Preview of how the subject & preheader will appear.

6. How can I design my email template?

You can create an email using:

  • Template Gallery – Pre-designed templates.
  • Custom HTML Editor – Direct HTML editing.
  • HTML Upload – Upload your own HTML email.
  • Zip Upload – Upload a zipped folder with email assets.
  • URL Import – Import email design from a URL.
  • AI-Based HTML Generation (Coming Soon) – Auto-generate email templates.

7. How can I preview my campaign before sending?

On the Campaign Preview Page, you can:

  • Review Campaign Details (Name, Subject Line, Sender Info, Audience, etc.).
  • View the Design Preview in HTML & Text versions.
  • Perform a Quick Test by sending a preview email.
  • Choose to Send Immediately or Schedule for Later.

8. What is the Drip Release feature, and how does it help?

The Drip Release feature optimizes email deliverability by controlling the sending speed.

  • Specify the number of emails to be sent per 5 minutes.
  • Helps prevent spam filters by avoiding sudden sending spikes.

9. How do I finalize and launch my campaign?

Before launching, review:
✅ Design Preview (HTML & Text versions).
✅ Unsubscribe Link (cmercury will prompt if missing).
✅ Final Edits (Modify details if needed).

Once everything is set:

  • Click Send Immediately OR
  • Schedule for Later at a specific date/time.
