1. What is the Campaigns module in cmercury?

The Campaigns module is a centralized dashboard for managing, tracking, and optimizing email marketing campaigns. It provides insights into campaign performance, scheduling, and audience engagement.

2. What are the different campaign status categories?

The top menu in the Campaigns module includes:

  • All – Displays all campaigns.
  • Draft – Campaigns still in progress and not yet sent.
  • Scheduled – Emails planned for future delivery.
  • Sent – Campaigns successfully delivered to recipients.

3. What are the different campaign types?

  • Regular – Single-send campaigns to a list or segment.
  • Distribution – Campaigns sent in multiple batches.
  • A/B Test – Campaigns with variations to determine the most effective version.

4. What does the campaign overview section show?

The Campaign Overview provides key details such as:

  • Campaign Name – Identifies the campaign.
  • Status – Draft, Processing, Sending, Scheduled, or Sent.
  • Sent Count – Number of recipients.
  • Open % – Percentage of recipients who opened the email.
  • Click % – Percentage of recipients who clicked on links.
  • Send Date – When the campaign was sent or scheduled.

5. What actions can I perform on campaigns?

  • Overview – View detailed insights and metrics.
  • Edit – Modify an existing campaign.
  • Delete – Permanently remove a campaign.
  • Copy – Duplicate a campaign for reuse.
  • Pause/Resume – Temporarily stop or restart a campaign.
  • Stop – Cancel a campaign that is in progress.

6. What insights can I find in the Campaign Overview section?

Clicking Overview provides two main tabs:

  1. Campaign Details (Available for all statuses)
    • Campaign ID – Unique identifier.
    • Created On – Date campaign was created.
    • Sent Date – When the campaign was sent.
    • Subject Line – The email’s main headline.
    • Sender Name & From Email – Sender information.
    • Reply-To Email – Where responses are directed.
    • Recipients & Segment – Targeted audience details.
    • Suppression List – Excluded recipients.
  2. Campaign Metrics (Available for “Sent” campaigns only)
    • Total Sent Count – Number of emails sent.
    • Delivered – Successfully received emails.
    • Opened – Total email opens.
    • Clicked – Number of link clicks.
    • Bounce Rate – Hard & soft email failures.
    • Unsubscribes – Opt-outs from the campaign.
    • Unique Opens & Unique Clicks – Distinct recipients who engaged.
    • Click-Through Rate (CTR) – Click percentage based on opens.

7. How can I track campaign performance over time?

The Performance Overview Chart provides a visual representation of:
✅ Opens
✅ Clicks
✅ Delivered Emails
✅ Unsubscribes
These insights help identify trends and optimize future campaigns.
