FAQs – Audience Selection

1. What is the Audience Selection page used for?

The Audience Selection page allows you to choose your target subscribers before sending a campaign. You can select from:

  • Lists (pre-created subscriber lists)
  • My Segments (custom audience segments)
  • Smart Segments (Coming Soon!)

2. What are the different tabs in Audience Selection?

  • Lists – Displays all subscriber lists in your account.
  • My Segments – Shows custom audience segments for targeted campaigns.
  • Smart Segments (Coming Soon!) – AI-powered segmentation feature.

3. How do I create a campaign from an existing list?

  • Go to the Lists tab.
  • Click Create Campaign next to the desired list.
  • The list is automatically selected for your campaign.

4. What details are available under the Lists tab?

Each list displays:

  • List ID – Unique identifier.
  • List Name – Name assigned to the list.
  • Subscribers – Total subscribers in the list.
  • Creation Date – When the list was created.
  • Actions – Includes a “Create Campaign” button to launch an email campaign.

5. How do I create a new segment?

  • Click Create Segment on the Audience Selection page.
  • Define segmentation criteria (filters based on subscriber data).
  • Save the segment.
  • It will appear under My Segments, ready for selection in a campaign.

6. What details are shown in the My Segments tab?

Each segment displays:

  • Segment Name – Name assigned to the segment.
  • List – The subscriber list associated with the segment.
  • Subscribers – Number of subscribers in the segment.
  • Creation Date – When the segment was created.
  • Regeneration Date – Last update date.
  • Regeneration Type – Whether the segment updates manually or automatically.

7. What actions can I perform on a segment?

  • Create Campaign – Use the segment for a campaign.
  • Edit – Modify segment criteria.
  • Duplicate – Copy an existing segment.
  • Make Suppression – Convert it into a suppression list.
  • Regenerate – Update the segment with the latest data.
  • Download – Export the segment.
  • Delete – Remove the segment permanently.

8. How can I search or filter my segments?

  • Filter by List – Select a specific list to see only related segments.
  • Search by Name – Enter the segment name in the search bar for quick access.

9. What is Smart Segments, and when will it be available?

Smart Segments is an upcoming AI-powered segmentation feature that will allow advanced audience targeting. Stay tuned for updates!
