1. What is cmercury Verify?

cmercury Verify is an email validation tool that helps marketers ensure email addresses are valid and capable of receiving emails. It detects typos, invalid domains, and expired accounts, improving email deliverability and reducing bounce rates.

2. How does cmercury Verify improve email deliverability?

By identifying and filtering out invalid, mistyped, or inactive email addresses before sending campaigns, cmercury Verify reduces bounce rates and protects your sender reputation.

3. Where can I access cmercury Verify?

You can access cmercury Verify from the Verify section in the main menu of the cmercury platform.

4. How can I check my credit balance?

Your credit balance is displayed at the top of the Verify page.

5. What verification options are available?

  • Single Email Verify – Verify one email address at a time.
  • Bulk Verify – Upload a CSV file to validate multiple emails at once.
  • List Verify – Validate emails already uploaded as a list.
  • Segment Verify (Coming soon) – More details will be available later.

6. How do I verify a single email address?

  1. Enter the email address in the designated field.
  2. Optionally, enable the Abuse Report Score feature.
  3. Click Verify to start validation.
  4. A popup will display the results with recommendations.

7. What is the Abuse Report Score?

It indicates the likelihood that an email address will mark messages as spam.

9. How do I verify multiple emails at once?

  1. Click the Bulk Verify tab.
  2. Upload a CSV file (max size: 100MB).
  3. Ensure the email column is correctly labeled (e.g., “Email”, “Email Address”).
  4. Click Verify to start processing.
  5. Results will be available under Previous Verifications.

10. What file format is required for Bulk Verify?

The file must be in CSV format, with a clearly labeled email column.

11. What is List Verify?

It allows verification of emails that are already uploaded as a list within cmercury.

12. How do I use List Verify?

  1. Click the List Verify tab.
  2. Select a list from the dropdown menu.
  3. Optionally, enable Abuse Report Score.
  4. Click Verify to begin.

13. What is Segment Verify?

Segment Verify is a feature under development. More details will be shared once it is launched.

14. Where can I view past verification activities?

Past verification activities can be found in the Verification History section.

15. What details are shown in the Verification History?

  • Date – Date of verification.
  • Verification Type – File upload or list verification.
  • File/List Name – Name of the file or list.
  • Total Verified – Number of emails processed.
  • Total Invalids – Number of invalid emails found.
  • Verification Status – (Completed, Processing, Failed, Attention Needed).
  • Quality – Ratio of valid emails to total emails.
  • Actions – Option to view detailed verification reports.

16. How do I view verification reports?

  1. Click View in the Actions column.
  2. A popup will display detailed results for each check.
  3. You can download a brief or detailed report.

17. What happens if my verification fails?

If verification fails, check your file format, ensure emails are correctly formatted, and retry. If issues persist, contact support.

18. How does cmercury Verify ensure high email quality?

By using various validation checks, such as syntax validation, domain verification, and spam likelihood analysis, cmercury Verify helps maintain a clean email list.
