1. What is the Account Settings section in cmercury?
The Account Settings section allows users to manage their profile details, domain configurations, API keys, integrations, and subscription plans in one centralized location.
2. How do I access Account Settings?
Click on the Account Settings option in the main menu of cmercury.
3. What are the main tabs in Account Settings?
The Account Settings module consists of five tabs:
- Profile – Update personal and business information.
- Domains – Add and manage sending domains.
- API Key – Generate and manage API keys.
- Plan & Billing – View and manage subscription details.
- Account Summary – View account performance insights.
Profile
4. What information can I update in the Profile tab?
You can update the following details:
- Account Name
- Website
- First Name & Last Name
- Address (City, State, Country, Pincode)
- VAT, GST, or Taxpayer Registration Number (Optional)
- Phone Number
- Timezone
5. Can I change my password in Account Settings?
Yes, go to Profile > Change Password, enter your current password, set a new password, and save the changes.
6. How do I upload a logo to my account?
Click Upload a Logo in the Profile tab and select a file in JPG, PNG, GIF, or JPEG format.
Domain
7. What is the Domains tab used for?
The Domains tab allows users to add, verify, and manage sending domains for email marketing.
8. What details can I see for each added domain?
For each domain, you can view:
- Domain Name
- Tracking Domain (Automatically assigned)
- Creation Date
- Status (Processing, Active)
9. What actions can I perform on a domain?
- View – Displays required DNS records for verification.
- Delete – Permanently removes the domain.
10. How do I change the Tracking Domain?
- Scroll to the Tracking Domain section at the bottom.
- Click Change and select a verified domain from the dropdown.
- Click Save to apply changes.
API Key
11. What is an API Key in cmercury?
An API Key allows users to integrate cmercury with external applications for automated email sending, CRM synchronization, and list management.
12. How do I generate a new API Key?
- Go to Account Settings > API Key.
- Click Create API Key.
- Enter a Name for the key.
- Click Generate to create the API token.
- Click the eye icon to reveal and copy the key.
13. What details are available for each API Key?
For each API Key, you can view:
- ID
- Key Name
- Token (Hidden by default; click the eye icon to reveal it)
14. What actions can I take on an API Key?
- Copy – Copies the API key for use in integrations.
- Delete – Permanently removes the API key.
15. What integrations are supported by cmercury?
cmercury supports 100+ external tools, including CRM systems and automation tools via Zapier.
Plan & Billing
16. Where can I check my subscription details?
Go to Account Settings > Plan & Billing to view your current plan, billing history, and payment details.
17. What subscription details can I view?
- Current Plan Name
- Amount Billed
- Validity Period
- Option to Upgrade or Downgrade
18. How can I view my payment history?
Your past transactions include:
- Current Plan (Active or Expired)
- Billing Currency
- Amount Paid
- Payment Date
- 📄 Invoice (Downloadable PDF)
19. How do I cancel my subscription?
Click 🚫 Cancel Plan in the Plan & Billing tab to switch to the Free Plan.
Account Summary
20. What is the Account Summary section?
The Account Summary provides a snapshot of key account activities, including:
- Email engagement metrics
- Automated mail performance
21. How do I access the Account Summary?
- Click on the Account Icon (top-right corner).
- Select Account Summary from the dropdown menu.
22. What sections are included in the Account Summary?
1. Account Information
- Displays the Account Name.
- Shows Enabled Modules (e.g., Email, Web Analytics).
2. Date Range Selection
- Displays data for the last 7 days by default.
- Users can select a custom date range (up to 2 months).
- 🗓 Note: Maximum selection allowed is 2 months.
3. Engagement Summary
Provides key campaign performance metrics:
- Emails Sent – Total emails sent in the selected period.
- Emails Verified – Successfully verified emails.
- SMS Sent – Total SMS messages sent.
- Web Push – Number of web push notifications delivered.
4. Automated Mails Summary
Includes details on automated email campaigns:
- List ID – Unique identifier for the email list.
- List Name – Name of the email list.
- Total List Count – Number of contacts in the list.
- Mail Sent Count – Total emails sent to the list.
23. How can I download an automated mail report?
Click the Download button in the Automated Mails Summary section to save a report for further analysis.
